Hi ,


we all know that we can not pass instream data thru procs.if we want
pass we have to pass thru overriding parameters or tru control card.
could u please tell me the reason. why we can not pass instream data
thru procs.

drajasekharreddy,

It is documented in the JCL reference manual that you CANNOT have instream data. The reason as to why is only known to IBM.
