I have problem with the tape dataset....I would appreciate if anyone could help me.
The input TAPE dataset was created with few records(say 100 records) DISP=NEW. And then few more records(say 50 records) were appended using DISP=MOD. Now the total records is suppose to be 100+50=150 records.
But when I try to copy this records(150 records) to another dataset only 100 records were copied!
I am getting the following message,
"PSP1157I STATISTICS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SUBTASKING ENVIRONMENTS" |

viji,
How are you copying the tape dataset? Are you using a sort, iebgener? . I just tested your case and I was able to get the total records back. As such you are getting only an informational message as the suffix of the message ends with an "I".
Does the input tape dataset span more than one volume? If that is the case then may you need to specify all the volumes on dataset when refering the dataset.
