Can data space improve performane in DFSORT of 64 bit z/OS?

With z/OS DFSORT V1R5 and above, DFSORT will choose whichever among Memory Object sorting, Hipersorting or dataspace sorting will give the best performance. With DFSORT R14 (z/OS DFSORT V1R4 and below), DFSORT will choose whichever among Hipersorting or dataspace sorting will give the best performance.
