Hi All,

I want to include 2 characters 'DE' in 5th and 6th positions to a binary file , which contains 14000 records.

Please give me the solution for this using DFSORT.

Please follow the rules of the forum. rule #4 provide detailed information on what you're trying to accomplish. Do not make people guess what you mean. This will give you a much better chance of getting a good answer to your question. For this question it would be a good idea to provide RECFM ,LRECL of the input dataset. I assumed that your input file is an FB file , the following JCl will give you desired results.
