Using a "special" typeterm from the autoinstall program that has LOGONMSG(NO). This means do not run the GMTRAN defined in the SIT.
The manual also states that if running TN3270 the keyboard will NOT unlock. O.K. I do this and the keyboard does not unlock, however, the reset key from Attachmate EXTRA does NOT seem to unlock it. Getting in on another terminal in the system and using CMSG to the terminal causes the unlock and then everything is o.k. Can anyone suggest an alternate way to get the keyboard unlocked when first getting into the region ?
