We use the cheapest version of QWS because of cost however I wouldn't call it my favorite. |

Andy,
I have always used RUMBA and it is fine with me.
Dibakar: Rumba has the ability to record macros(actions) and it is just a click of a mouse.

I have used Rumba, Attachmate Extra, Netsoft Elite, DRIFT2000 (home grown from the Telco I worked at).
I don't like any of them particularly. I used to like Extra but it has gone downhill fast in my estimation. I used to whinge and moan about DRIFT2000 when I had to use it but I miss now that I use Extra. Extra wants to disconnect you anytime you change anything in the configuration - and sometimes it doesn't wait for your answer! It is a pain in the backside.
Rumba is similar. I find them laborious to configure and their macro languages have become more complex than necessary.
DRIFT2000 was neat because it had ActiveX components allowing you to program in Visual Basic. _________________ My opinions are exactly that. |

kolusu,
What I wanted to say that you can program your macros in Hummingbird using Visual Basic. But with Rumba, the one installed in our project, you can only record macros. I have not found any otion to edit them, probably the feature is not installed. |
