Hi - I am looking for an assembler routine that accepts a PDS dsname and a member name and a RC is returned whether the member is found or not. I cannot use REXX or LM* type services, thats why I need an assembler routine. Can anyone assist ?
Cheers Question

File 160 on CBT Tape contains a member DSNCHECK which is an assembler routine to do just that.

It may need some tweaking to work at your site however.

Bundy,
In case you don't know, the CBT 'tape' (which isn't a physical tape anymore) - can be found at www.cbttape.org
