Can anyone explain step by step process of creating XREF for viewing files with multiple layouts on FILEAID? I would be delighted if somebody throws light on this at the earliest.

Thanks
Chittu

Kolusu,

Thanks a ton. It did help......In fact, with this, I was able to create cross-reference for a couple of files very easily. I would also like to learn how to create cross-reference for data-segmented files too. But, I don't find any data-segmented files on our installation. No worries.......I would save this link that you have provided in case I need it in future.
Smile

This site has apparently moved its manuals page to
https://sir.adp.iastate.edu/sirgroups/is/manuals/manuals.html
but does not seem to have the FILEAID manuals anymore.
Why don't you get the manuals from the official source - the compuware frontline website at http://frontline.compuware.com/ ?
You will need to register using your Compuware site id, which your sysprogs can tell you or you can find out by running any batch FILEAID job and looking at the SYSPRINT output, e.g. run the following[code:1:2d7777081e]
//S010 EXEC PGM=FILEAID
//STEPLIB DD DSN=your.fileaid.loadlib,DISP=SHR
//SYSLIST DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSTOTAL DD SYSOUT=*
//DD01 DD DSN=any.dataset,DISP=OLD
//SYSIN DD *
