Can you give me some information regarding, how to take backup for selected directory in OMVS with all its contents and restore the same...

Sarav,

You can use Data Facility Data Set Services (DFDSS) program(ADRDSSU) to manage DASD devices. DFDSS can be used to reduce DASD free space fragmentation, copy or move data sets from one DASD device to another, or dump and restore backup copies of entire DASD volumes.
