Hello,
When I logon OMVS througth TSO and try to edit a file using the oedit (or obrowse) command I get nothing , neither the edit panel, nor an error message, only this:
>oedit
>
This only happens via OMVS, via the ishell I can edit whatever I want (if the security folks agree, of course )
Does anybody know the reason? Can u help me? |

It sounds like you do not have OEDIT (or something ot calls) in your SYSPROC or SYSEXEC concatenation. From ISPF, try the command TSO ISRDDN M OEDIT and see if it is found. If not, you need to check your logon proc or the exec that runs it to be sure that the appropriate USS libraries are there (SYS1.SBPXEXEC etc). |
