QW for MVS/QuickRef is not working in my shop

Hi,

I'm not able to access MVS/QuickRef with command QW. When I issue QW command I'm getting fallowing error.

Code:
Data set not cataloged
'SYS2.QUICKREF.QWIPNL' was not found in catalog.


I thought MVS/QuickRef is default in IBM Mainframe.

I believe Quickref is a vendor prodct not IBM so your shop may not have purchased it. If they have, we do not work at your shop so we would not know what your internl problems are. Ask your colleagues. Maybe there is some set up required for your ID IF it is installed.

Actually, no it is not. it is a vendor product and as such must be purchased from the vendor and installed at the site. Relatively few sites I have worked at over the last 40 years have had MVS/Quickref installed.
