Hi,

I have two files. I need to compare two files and need to get the count of non matching records and matching records. Both the files are of length 225.
Actually both the files are same except in one file in location 214 to 215 there will be non blank character.

Please help out with the sample sort jcl. Thanks in advance.

Total records in files are 521583. Using sort jcl I am able to find the count of non matching records as 55190. But client asking for compare the files and provide the record count of matching and non matching records.

Do not want to write records to any files. Just count is needed.
