|
Hi,
I have a field with definition 9(7)V9(3). Need to convert it to S9(7)V9(3) COMP-3.
Could you please specify how it can be done? |

You specify your fields as ZD (Zoned Decimal) of 10 bytes (SORT does not know about decimal places). You specify a TO=PD to convert (to Packed Decimal) and you give the LENGTH= of the field you desire (which is five). |
