Hello,

I would like to send snmp traps from a server MVS to an NT server.

IBM documents (
-IP Configuration Guide
-IP System Administrator's Commands
)
talk about two tracks:
--Netview
-- command osnmp (or snmp now) of mvs unix.

However, this thread:

http://www.mail-archive.com/ibm-main@bama.ua.edu/msg85712.html

IBM and the page:

http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/f1a1c260/7.1?

suggest that osnmp does not send SNMP traps but rather to manage SNMP traps received.

Is that correct or did I miss something?

Thank you in advance for your help.

seheiahs,

Both links in your post are invalid and I had to fix them. Did you try the procedure listed in one of the response on IBM-main like this one?
