Hi,

We use ENDEVOR as the version control tool. I see the libraries for endevor to veiw the members for DDBSRC, PSBSRC other libs.

But, I don't see the library for source programs (cobol source pgms). I need the library to copy some of the members.

Not sure if this is some thing related to Endevor.
Could some one please let me know if there is a way in copying the source members?

Thank you

our only ispf library that contains source is the production source.
a source at any of the other stages is maintained in the endevor propriatary vsam file (or db2 table - depending on you version of endevor).
that is because endevor keeps track of versions,
and you can have several versions of a source in a stage
(use S instead of B to select a source.
the panel will display the different versions, which you can the select with a B.

If you simply select with B on the primary panel (without first S)
you will BROWSE (or VIEW if you have set-up your personal defaults) the lastest version of the source.

I set my default for VIEW instead of BROWSE when selecting an element with B
I wrote a quick edit macro that deletes the lines above PROGRAM-ID and then shifts every line to the left, 19 (again, depending on you site).
that way I can use all my edit macros. also, i can do an unregistered RETRIEVE by CREATING a member in my ISPF PDS.

Short answer is either create SCL to RETRIEVE multiple elements,
or do what I do, 1 at-a-time.

for multiples I always create SCL for RETRIEVE WITHOUT SIGNOUT.

But I rarely go after a source unless it is in production.
but, if you can not find your production source ISPF PDS,
ask you endevor support or read the local documentation.

if there are ISPF PDS's for other element types, i would be suprised if they did not provide a production source ISPF PDS.
