Hi all,

Herein is my question:
Is it is possible to execute DB2 commands like START DATABASE using DB2 command line processor or batch file or stored procedure?

Reference:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/dzichelp/v2r2/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.db29.doc.admin/db2z_sp_admincommanddb2.htm

When I googled about this I found the following procedure:

The SYSPROC.ADMIN_COMMAND_DB2 stored procedure executes one or more DB2

Kolusu,

Sorry for my delay in replying to this post.
I was sick all these days.

Thanks for the answer.
But, here is the thing..I am currently using the Batch JCL to remove the pending status.. I am writing a automation process where I have to give a command at DB2 Command line to exuecute the command which will remove the pending status of the tables.

Hence my question is, can we reset the staus using DB2 Command line or any DB2 batch file?

Thanks once again for your time.
