Members of this forum may be interested to hear - or be reminded - of another potential source of income for mainframe specialists - that is, by writing technical articles for Xephon's mainframe-related journals.
The pay is good, and it's not as difficult as you might imagine - many articles consist of code with a few explanatory comments, and others are based on pre-existing material (technical memos, reports, checklists, etc). You don't need a polished prose style - we will make any editorial changes necessary to make your article look good in print.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with Xephon's journals: our main one is MVS Update, covering all aspects of OS/390 and z/OS, and there are separate ones on CICS, DB2, MQSeries, RACF, and enterprise networking (TCP and SNA).
