what is Icetool and Dfsort.is it same as sort or different product.

Butta_mvs,

DFSORT is IBM's sort, merge and copy product for z/OS and OS/390.

ICETOOL is a powerful utility included with DFSORT that extends DFSORT's capabilities in a variety of ways. ICEGENER, a faster replacement for qualifying IEBGENER jobs, is also included with DFSORT.
