Hi

When I try access the KSDS file from CICS its giving the follwing MEssages.

IEC161I 120-053,CICSC001,CICSC001,MTRGF049,,,MTRG049.CICS.KSDS,
IEC161I MTRG049.CICS.KSDS.INDEX,USERCAT.VGENERAL
+DFHFC0964 A06C001 Non-RLS OPEN of file MTRGF049 failed. VSAM codes -
8502,0008,00DC.
+DFHME0116 A06C001 834
(Module:DFHMEME) CICS symptom string for message DFHFC0964 is
PIDS/565501800 LVLS/530 MS/DFHFC0964 RIDS/DFHFCFS PTFS/UQ34340
REGS/GR15 VALU/00008502 PRCS/00000008 PRCS/000000DC


Pls help me to solve the problem.

I think your CI size is bigger than the LSR or GSR

Add index and data buffers to the VSAM using AMP=('BUFNI=1,BUFND=10') . It worked for me.

That seems to conflict with suggestion in the manual referred to by kolusu.
