Why only COBOL is a concern, do you know the difference from other perpesctive, such as from SORT point of view... I wonder.

Anuj,

How does it matter? A VB file is a VB file across all languages/utilities and the same for FB. why did you think it would differ? Rolling Eyes

Hi Kolusu,

I was beaten by the word "cobol"

question is framed in such a way as if he has successfully worked with VB files in SORT, File-Aid etc. but facing difficulities when working with them using COBOL.
