When ever we try to copy or dump a file using ADRDSSU from a KSDF to a flat file resides either on DASD or TAPE, the o/p file is created w undefined format, do I need to include any additional parameter to create the file w defined format. Please help.

ADRDSSU is a backup/restore utility. It uses its own format. It can copy the dump files it creates but it does not, for example, copy a sequential file to a sequential file.

Like Nic says, ADRDSSU DUMP uses its own format, it is not a flat file like a repro would produce, in another words you can only use the output file for an ADRDSSU RESTORE.
