Hi all,

Good Morning.

The requirement is something like this, at our shop we have to create a new DB2 subsystem. For that I need to give some storage estimates for creating a DB2 subsystem on mainframes.
Like: Real storage(Bufferpool, EDM, RID, SORT pools etc), active and archive logs size, catalog and directory size and libraries size etc..
They are supposed to be 4 databases in one subsystem initially,
and around 50 tables.(Can be partitioned tables also), ..Now could anyone please throw some light on how to estimate the storage requirements for setting up a small or medium sized DB2 subsystem on mainframes...
Thanks all in advance for you time and help....
