I support Endevor in the z/OS environment. SMF records are cut that I access in SAS via MXG. We don't have SASGRAPH. I had PC SAS loaded on my workstation. What is the best way to get my SMF data to my workstation to created graphs?

XMIT the SMF dataset on z/OS to a FB dataset and FTP that FB dataset to PC.

Thanks kolusu. Have you done this? MXG understands the format of SMF - how is this achieved in SAS with a conversion to a FB dataset?

I would think that the best way would be to unload the MXG datasets into FB files and transfer these to your PC, although you will need to write your own SAS programs to build the graphs.

I haven't done it, but I don't see a reason as to why it wouldn't work
