I am in need of some reference materials that shows simple SPUFI commands. I have never used SPUFI before but am familar with writing SQL. I have looked on the net but came up empty handed. Any suggestions?

lmanda2003,

SPUFI stands SQL Processing Using File Input. It is a facility of the TSO attachment subcomponent that enables the DB2I user to execute SQL statements without embedding them in an application program. With spufi you can execute any DDL OR DML statements you can create,drop,select,insert,delete,update... using spufi.

Check this link for Executing SQL from your terminal using SPUFI

Check this link for SQL Reference

Hope this helps...

cheers
