Hello,

I need to get the control unit information to find out how the DASD is able to connect to it. Can someone give me a command to display the control unit? I checked the HCD and saw a 3174, but that is a different controller.

How did you check HCD but not see your controller? How about printing a text report in HCD option 3? Select CSS reports to generate the Control Unit summary report.
