We are getting ready to remove our 3174(I'm shedding a tear) and go to an IP/OSA solution. I have the OSA to Console redbook(SG24-6364-01)
but it is killing me getting through it.
It appears I have most of it in place, i/odef(3270x),nipcons, and it appears I'll need to get to the HMC and make some changes when the time comes. But could someone who has been through this PLEASE give me a readers digest version??
thanks in advance

Don't forget that you can make your HMC accessible via your IP network and use the HMC itself as a console by accessing it from your workstation. Did that a few years ago so we could IPL remotely and access the HMC.
