hi all,
is there any command to know which userid belongs to which user??by user i mean his user name or any other identifiable details.

thanks kolsu. it worked. i just wonder if it works the other way also. is there any way to find the id if i have the name?? thanks any way.

The commands WHOAMI , WHOIS , WHO are shop specific rexx/clists. Since your shop has WHOIS , I am guessing that you also have WHOAMI & WHO commands.

Try TSO WHO

The whoami command displays your login name. The who command displays information about all users currently on the local system.

As I mentioned earlier all the above commands are not standard TSO commands. They are shop specific rexx/clists.
