Is there a tool which will convert the IDMS record definition in IDMS dictionary to the format which Easytrieve will understand. Let me know.

The IDD interface automatically generates definitions (taken from the CA-IDMS Integrated Data Dictionary) for files, records, logical records, element records, and fields. This greatly reduces the effort often associated with database processing.
