Hi,

I have one input file of length 100 bytes. I need to insert zeroes at column 40 with size 6 bytes making file length 106, but this zero should be in packed decimal format as the program to which this input file is suplied reads this 40,6 column into an packed decimal format.

I tried 6Z in OUTREC but the program is abending with S0C7 as unable to read the field. Please help me with syntax.
