We'd like to copy members from one PDS to another and not lose the Created and Updated dates... it isn't working with cobol. Any ideas ? It should be a batch process.

stansaraczewski,

Why not use the plain old IEBCOPY?

Code:

//STEP0100 EXEC  PGM=IEBCOPY
//SYSPRINT DD  SYSOUT=*
//IN       DD  DSN=Your source pds,
//             DISP=SHR
//OUT      DD  DSNAME=your target pds,
//             DISP=SHR
//SYSIN    DD  *
COPYOPER   COPY  OUTDD=OUT,INDD=IN
           SELECT MEMBER=MEMBER1
           SELECT MEMBER=MEMBER2
            .....
           SELECT MEMBER=MEMNNNN
//*
