Hi,
I am facing a weird problem. We develop api(programs) in a common PDS, and many of us would be on the same PDS simultaneously but working on different members. This was fine until last week, now we are not able to access individual members/dataset when one pereson is already in a edit mode. I am not able to understand what is causing this X lock mode. Does anybody faced a similar situation before and have an fix. Thanks

Is it a pds or a pds/e... Used to be that pds/e would enqueue the entire file but that was a few years ago that they fixed that.
Have you verified that it is an edit that's doing the enqueue and not some other process?
