Santlou,

Please remember that people responding to problems on this board are only trying to help. There is no need to resort to abuse.

Mervyn,

I appologize for sinking to the level that Dick displayed in this thread.

I consider myself an IT Professional with 25 years experience in developing Mainframe components in a variety of languages, and platforms and I was simply very aggravated by Dicks abusive and unprovoked response to my well-meaning and sincere post. As a professional, I feel that Dave should have shown more restraint before posting such a reckless and degrading comment.

Dave,
Thank you for admitting that it was your abusive comments that triggered this issue.

I occasionally respond to posts here when time permits and I always try to provide my best technical experience in responding to other members issues. I whole-heartedly agree that there is no need to resort to such abuse on this board.

So Mervyn, as Dave mentioned and as you can see by reading the thread, my responses to dave were in defense of my technical background and expertise from the attack that Dave posted, and my view that there is no place for such attacks here on this board. Dave, hopefully this has been a lesson learned.

Thanks... and I appologize to the members who have to read such senseless attacks.
