Hi,

STROBE is a tool that can gather statistics on how much time a PLI code spends in a given program procedure. Does anyone have manual (or user guide or any other materials) for STROBE? Thanks a lot.

Also, is there any other good methods (or tools) to gather the same? Looking for your valuable response!

Not a manual but you could try here for starters:

Why don't you give more info? Which version of PL/I, Enterprise V3R4/5/6/7Mx or the old V2.3.0. If the latter, compile with LC(32767) and LIST options and look for A..IBM (calls to the library) Some (I/O) are unavoidable, but if you find one in a loop, you might have a problem.
