How to release job hold by TYPERUN=HOLD parameter

hi all,

in my jcl i am giving TYPERUN=HOLD and hold this job from execution now i want to release it ,i know that by typing A in spool area in front of holed job that job release but this method not support in our id's so can there is an alternative

You can use a console command, but if you are not allowed to use the SDSF release command on your own job then I seriously doubt that you will be able to use console commands. In this case you will have to ask an operator to release your job.

or do not submit it until it is OK for it to run
