Dear Forum participants

Perhaps someone has a suitable SQL for me ..

Also in our DB2-System are lots of similar tables, but with different table name.

How can I find out in 2 tables if the definitions are the same or different?

you can compare the results of a syscolumns sql.

What do you mean by this? You mean if there are two tables, the entire table structure (field names and definitions) is same for these two tables but just the table names are different?

Compare the table structure of both the tables.

i mean the structure of the both Tables. The Name of the Table ist different.
How can I do this by SQL ?
