I tried by including the ROWSET statement in the DECLARE CURSOR, but it gave me a -104 at the DECLARE statement itself.
I then used C51 but it keeps giving the -104 error on the FETCH statement
If you get any other thoughts please post it. Meanwhile I ask about NIC's question. |

Sorry, no more ideas from me. You'll need to follow up with Nic's suggestion. I saw that the step during the v8 install/upgrade to BIND the packages for REXX is an optional step, so that might be a good starting point for a conversation with your DBA's.

I see that I am about a month late into this conversation and have not been checking these boards very often.
In a class I took, IBM said that REXX has not been changed to take advantage of DB2 version 8 features such as multi-row fetch and ROWSET positioning.
If someone has been able to take advantage of DB2 version 8 in REXX, I'd be interested in hearing about it. |
