				| Take a look at product BatchCICS-Connect. >> www.batchcics.com
Provides ability to code interaction with any CICS transaction from a batch cobol
 program.

Build your own logical regression tests of CICS apps, and run from
batch. Great way to build stress cases also.

				| If not, Earl is so enthusiastic about the product, that he provides free marketing. hmmmm, wonder why?

There is nothing wrong with vendor reps on this site. They are encouraged. Alissa & Frank provide excellent (beyond excellent - they provide help that is unheard of) support and help for their products.

But they do not hide the fact.

as far as the OP's original question, I am sure ComputerAssociates has something (or will soon acquire).

And, I would look into IBM. Over the years they have really improved their bare-bones utilities. It might be a little primitive: no fancy GUI's, etc. but to think that IBM does not have this kind of software internally is short sighted. I am sure that IBM has something somewhere -- and it may already be bundled with your OS. The people responsible for the Budget in your company should contact IBM. You could also do a search on the IBM website for this type of thing, also look at the REDBOOKs.

				| no, I don't work for the vendor. I am a CICS integration consultant for a large BPM" company.
I just know BatchCICS is fairly new product and is versatile when desire is to logically interact with other CICS transactions from your own cobol app.

				| Earl,
we don't mind you promoting the product. I was just wondering when I saw that 90% of your posts had a mention of batchcics.
