as I tend to ramble on in my posts, I am often faced with a LOGON screen when I submit my msg. I log-in and then a blank message screen faces me.
I have not LOST MY MESSAGE.
All I have to do is:- hit my browser's BACK button twice which displays my post as I had composed it
- hit SUBMIT, sometimes it works, sometimes I am forced to hit SUBMIT again
Also, you have an option to PREVIEW, which means that you can see what you have written, prior to posting and allowing you to correct what you have written, thus avoiding forever etching in stone a misstatement.
by the way, I have had to re-logon twice for this message. _________________ Dick Brenholtz

DBZ,
The default Session Length is 60 minutes after which you will be automatically logged out. Let us say you logged in at 8:00 AM and you do NOT refresh your screen till 9:01 AM then you are logged out. But your screen shows that you are already logged on and when you try to post a message the website would prompt you to LOG on once again as your prior session expired.

Kolusu,
this was not meant as a criticism. Actually, I posted this in case others were faced with this problem - or there session was broken due to bad IP service or what ever. I felt that some needed to be reminded that if they used the browser BACK button, they could recover their msg. _________________ Dick Brenholtz

Wish I would have looked in this forum earlier. I tend to get long-winded and distracted in my responses and lost one earlier today. Thanks for the BACK BACK tip. |
