The above panel, in your last post works when displayed via 7.2

I have not bothered trying with the rexx as that is irrelevant at this stage. Get you panel displaying first then try the rexx.

Good. Now start adding input and output fields. then start looking at the PROC section especially VER - saves a lot of verification by program code.
