Hi,
Currently i am taking a dump of around 100 datasets( i.e PS and VSAM datasets)into a tape using ADRDSSU . The job is taking longer CPU times, is there a way by which we can improve the CPU performance?

What sizes are the datasets ?
Are you using ALLDATA & ALLEXCP

The CPU time will be the same regardless of the elapsed time. THe CPU uses enough CPU to do what it needs to do, unfortunately.
