Currently I merge several gdg's using JCL like this:

Is there a way using a wild card maybe to simplify thsi JCL... ?

I am thinkknig of something like this:

//           DISP=SHR

John Corbin,

My mistake. I thought you wanted to merge the gdg versions in FIFO (first in first out order). Upon reading the question once again, I think you just want to merge the gdg versions in LIFO. In that case all you need to do is just supply the GDG base name and you are all set as the system will automatically concatenate the gdg versions in the LIFO order.
