I was reading thru the replies to mcmillan's many COBOL questions and paused to wonder...
Is there that much dislike between the these two MVS sites that someone would actually post these questions out of spite? I don't want to believe that. I am aware that the admin there had made some change so that your website name could not be typed on that forum. Rather silly, I think.
Of course, it's also scary that someone with apparently so little knowledge of COBOL would be trying to pass an exam without more study.
I'm going to post similar sentiments on the other board, but they're having server problems. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you??
Regards,
Bill

Bill,
I never ever felt that someone on the other board would stoop down and post some elementary questions. Even if they did I would just ignore and keep answering as I did in mcmillan's case.
Now coming to the second part of your question, I don't have time and I have no intention of doing any thing remotely to what had been said.
If you are not aware , mvsforums lost a week's posts and around 22 members couple of weeks back as my hosting company had problems with their servers.I was not able to restore them.
Well we cannot blame everything on someone just because we had a problem.
I would really appreciate if you can remove the reference to the actual names of the admin of the other board.
