Hi Gurus,

I never worked in COBOL-DB2/COBOL-CICS-DB2 programs. I just wanted to know how fallback to previous version of a program is handled in real time when there is any serious problem in new changes ?. I have worked in Changeman which handles the "backout" of a program excellently. Does Changeman handle the fallback to previous version of a "package" also ?.

Thanks,
Ravikumar.

ravikumar_sri2001,

Just rebind the previous version of the package to which you want to fall back to. Never worked on Changeman but don't see why that cannot be automated. We use Infoman here for implementations and endevore as the source control tool. Never tried that, but I am sure you can configure Infoman to run an endevore job to do just that.

Regards,
Manas
