|
|
Good afternoon folks:
Q1.
What the character of a bsam file?or how can I define a file for bsam access?
Q2.Does the statement 'start' indicate the using of bsam access mode?
Q3. Quote: | BSAM buffers obtained at OPEN are below 16MB. Also, if you use the BUILD
macro yourself to build a buffer pool that is associated with a DCB
(pointed to by DCBBUFCB), it must be below 16MB. That doesn't mean you
can't read/write from storage areas above 16MB, create buffers above 16MB,
or issue BSAM services from an RMODE=ANY program. It just makes it a
little "trickier" to get complete VSCR when using BSAM.

That means if I use a program to access a bsam file in the status of open, then this program should load below 16m?
thanks~[/code] |
