Hi,

Can you let me know where do we specify the PLAN while executing a IMS/DB-COBOL-DB2 program.

We generally use DFSRRC00 with PARM having many parameters.

Please help.

Are you executing the program as DL/I or BMP?

We use GSAM and always execute the programs as BMP.

As long as IMS has been configured to connect to DB2 then you need not specify the plan name if the name of the plan and the PSB are the same (recommended). If not, you may require a Resource Translation Table (RTT).
