Hi Friends,
I have an input record of length 80 bytes with couple of COMP-2 fields. I would like to create an output file to be able to read these COMP-2 fields using sort. I searched the utilities topic and didn't find JCL solution.

Comp-2 is FL format with 8 bytes length. Check this link which explains equivalent DFSORT formats for various COBOL data types:

Note that FL format is only supported in DFSORT's SORT, MERGE and SUM control statements as shown in Appendix C of "z/OS DFSORT Application Programming Guide". Here's the link to that Table:
