I have a requirement to read the SYSOUT for a Job( jobname=JOBXY123) and find out some data in it.

Please let me know how I can access the IOF and read this information into my REXX program.

If you have any program samples which do the above please provide me.

I checked this an all the documents are in .xmi format and could not open, please let me know how to view these

please please send me some sample programs,, I tried all options to open the attachments in cbt into notepad and transferring them into mainframe.. but nothing helped me. I could see only some junk characters,,, please send me a few programs

Kolusu, I did follow and did it in binary mode, it copied and I see all junk characters in the dataset.

Please send me in a notepad please, I am in real need urgently

I have to read the sysout of a Job which I pass as an input into as dataset.

I don't know which files you have downloaded from CBT. so I cannot send you the code.

Use Xmitmanager which lets you read .XMI files . Here is the download link. It is under Mainframe related downloads.
