Hi

I protected the SYS1 datasets using 'SYS1.*' generic profile.When I IPLed the system had a Catastrophic error problem.Then Logged on thru console I deleted the Generic profile and IPLed the system.How to protect the SYS1 datasets.

Pls help me to solve the problem.

As so often, there is not enough information to analyse the problem. How did you define your RACF protection for the datasets? Most SYS1 datasets must have universal read access.
