Hi all,
I have initroduced a DB2 query in an existing IMS program. I have compiled and link edited the same. While running I am getting an abend U3057. The problem is with the DB2 connectivity. The existing parm in the run jcl is PARM=(DLI,&mem,&psb,,,,,,N,,,,,N)

Kindly let me know whether I shud change this parm bcoz i have intoduced DB2. If this parm is o.k...pls let me know what else could be wrong.....

Was their established connection between your IMS region and the DB2 Subsytem ?

You need to set &mem to DSNMTV01 and you will need to code a //DDIVD02 card. See the DB2 Application Programming guide for details.

Yes there is an established connection between DB2 and my IMS region...

There are some developments now..
I changed the parm to ...
PARM=(BMP,&mem,&PSB,,,N00000,,,,1,15,70,20,
IMS6,,,,,,)

Its now giving U0437... I think the AGN is missing. What is AGN and where should i find it? Please let me know...

Personally, I would ask someone. Try the DBA.
