What is the difference between BMP and Batch dl/i processing modes in the JCL and in program.

How to declare GSAM datasets for both BMP and DL/I.?And Please let me know the libraries dbd and psb to be coded for both? Whats is the importance of ACBLIB?

And what is the return code we will get when ims is down.
